LG is again back with something new, after LG G2 which is one of the best smart phone yet it brings you the phone with flexible display. after the launch of Samsung round LG  launch competition to their rival as G FLEX. According to LG Why should our phones be flat when everything else in the world is curved, and LG is working on the projects like folding handsets and collapsible tablets in the near future. The LG's 6--inch phablet comes with very good specifications and a premium price tag and of course a sexy curve there are also other phablet in market like NOKIA LUMIA 1520 &HTC ONE MAX though they got power under their hood but they do not come with  sexy curves like SAMSUNG's GALAXY ROUND  & LG G FLEX.

BODY AND DISPLAY:

LG G FLEX sport  6-inch 720p display, the plastic OLED display found on G FLEX is the  thinnest and lightest OLED and flexible found on any Smartphone. One thing is that most of the phablet  like LUMIA 1520, HTC One Max and NOTE 3 has 1080p displays whereas G FLEX comes with 720p screen. Colours on G FLEX are more vibrant then most of the phablet like LUMIA 1520 or HTC ONE MAX, only  GALAXY NOTE 3 display is comparable to G FLEX.

The design of the phone is similar to LG G2  and the only difference is the curve, the phones is very good looking and you can only differentiate when you take a look from the side. All buttons are placed similarly like G2. The new add-on is the healing property as shown in the "X-MEN" movie "WOLVERINE ".

 The self-healing:

LG G FLEX is the only Smartphone which come with the amazing property of "self-healing" you can also call it the wolverine of the smart phones. The back panel of G FLEX is coated with a resin, this elastic resin helps to remove minor scratches. The process is temperature-dependent, and performs well when phone is more hotter. You can actually rub the panel to heat  the phone and improve healing. The healing property works only on minor scratches and deep cuts can cause damage.



HARDWARE: 

G FLEX is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 2.26GHz quad core processor which the fastest processor available in the Smartphone market which is supported by Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB RAM. Internal storage of phablet is 32GB and there  is no microSD slot for expandable storage. Performance was very smooth and phone shows no lagging. Opening and closing of app takes no time.
 The G Flex is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera similar to G2 and the G Flex camera app comes with SAME myriad settings and features like G2. It also comes with dual camera mode , in dual Camera Mode you can use both front and rear camera at same time to take photos of you as well as the subject you were shooting and another Shot and Clear  feature lets you erase anything that accidentally comes in between you and your picture.
Call quality over both 3G and 2G network is good, loudspeaker's performance is also good  and with massive battery of 3500 mAh battery can last up to 12 hrs after heavy usage including games, GPS navigation, music and all. Which  is impressive, as you will have to charged it once a day and don't have to carry a portable charger with you every time.

SOFTWARE:

The G Flex UI is almost a copy of LG G2's interface, with few add-ons. You will get a customized version of Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with some of new features  by LG. Like G2,  lock screen of G FLEX  offers up to five customizable app shortcuts . G FLEX comes with features like Qslide & slide aside: this feature help you to operate many apps at the same time , dual window : like samsung's multi window mode here you can also use two apps on same time ,  quick remote: G Flex comes with an IR blaster and Quick Remote app that turn your device into a remote control to control devices you select with your device, guest mode: in guest mode people can only access apps  those are pre-selected by the owner . You can start this feature by creating an unlock pattern for Guest Mode, and Q theatre: from the G Flex's lock screen you can access Q Theatre  which lets you quickly jump to the Gallery, Video and YouTube apps without unlocking  the handset.

This is something new in the market for all those technology enthusiasts who want to experience new technology of curved displays, can really buy this phone. This phone is  combination of very good software and hardware, latest snapdragon 800 processor very good 13  MP camera and a sexy curved display the only thing which is disappointing is display which is not full HD. If you are thinking of brand you can also check its competitor with curve SAMSUNG GALAXY ROUND or if you looking for flat screen phablet you can go for LUMIA 1520,HTC ONE MAX or SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3.
