after confirming the collaboration with CARL ZEISS or popularly known only as ZEISS, NOKIA hinted for early release of their phone NOKIA 8 in the Q3 2017 worldwide. Nokia had already launched their mid-range lineup named Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and NOKIA 6(click to read more) which comes with average specs and not satisfactory for the Nokia fan base.

 According to a Chinese website, CNMO.COM  HMD global upcoming flagship is Nokia 8 and not Nokia 9 as previously rumoured. the images of Nokia 8 have been leaked by the same Chinese website. which clearly shows the front and the back panel of this gorgeous new device. The design shown in images of NOKIA 8 as written in Chinese is bezel-less, but camera position is bit odd as we take a first look at the leaked images.The design follows the legacy of old Nokia as we can see from the images and give the vibes of old Nokia phones. for me personally, it looks somewhat similar to Nokia N9 when I first saw the leaked images.

Though the fingerprint feature is exactly the same as Xiaomi Note 3, they have introduced accelerometer in it.

Moto X was in continuous conversations since August of 2013, Motorola making phones under the hood of Google. DESIGN

The New Motorola Moto X is very similar to Moto G in looks. This is a Curvy smartphone with a shell made up of plastic that has a clear seam where the rear battery connects with its frame. The soft and smooth finish gives feel better than that of a basic plastic shell, but it’s still the polycarbonate case. But unlike Moto G, the back is non-Removable. In Moto X, Motorola has excelled in fitting a large screen in “small looking” phone. We get the same 4.7-inches screen as the HTC one with a Moto X, but this a comparatively a smaller one in size. You pockets will be thanking you for buying this phone due to its relatively smaller height of 129 mm as compared to HTC one(137mm) and Nexus 5(138mm). The thickness of 10.4mm is quite sturdy for a - $400 phone – approximately mm thicker than the phones of the same range. There might be questions in mind about the similarity between Moto X and Moto G in respect of Design but Moto G being one third the price. So the difference is in the finish of the phone which is done more gracefully. The plastic juts out beyond the screen a fraction in the Moto G, it curves around to form a much tighter join in the Moto Xwhich avoiding the rough feel of its cheaper sibling. The backplate is non-removable to give a zero-creak body and significantly slimmer look. Moto X has a pop-out nano-SIM tray. A microUSB port at the bottom, power and volume rocker buttons on the right and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack up top. The buttons are really well sited as in competition with other phones whose buttons are terribly placed in inaccessible positions. Motorola has made buttons that are very responsive to use.

HARDWARE

Considering the motto “user experience over specification race”, with a 4.7-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a density of 312ppi Motorola has gone for a display size that is more comfortable to use and a resolution fulfilling its duties without any fuss. The Camera is also a result of better user experience. Motorola claims that the Motorola Moto X has a descent camera for the good enough pictures. As no one wants to delve into the settings and hence a lot of features in the camera are automated. Speaking of the camera quality it is not as good as iPhone 5s but it is not bad too. As stated above the Moto X is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. In addition to it, it has Motorola X8 Mobile processor to power the device’s Touchless Control, Active Display and other always-listening gestures. It might not sound the top of the line specs but they are not worse even. The problem with most of the Android phones is their battery life, after a normal usage, in most of the cases you need to charge it twice a day. But in Moto X 2200mah battery helps in easily passing a day without charging surviving all the tasks performed on the device, even on Active Display running.

SOFTWARE

The Active Display of Moto X is the best feature of the phone, which shows flashing monochrome alerts on-screen when the phone is on standby. This feature is most likely to kill the battery of an LCD screen because of those displays using backlight, but as OLED displays use light-emitting pixels, only a small portion of the screen has to be ‘activated’ to make this thing work. It is same as GLANCE in windows phones. The Motorola Moto X is comes with Android 4.4 KitKat. However, it does not have the same Google Experience interface as the Nexus 5. Instead, it has the more common Android interface found on older Jelly Bean Android phones. It hasfive homescreens, a customisable app launcher bar, and a universal search that sits on all the five homescreens. The core apps bank of the Motorola Moto X is supplied entirely by Google. There’s Maps, Calendar, the Quickoffice suite, the Chrome browser,Hangouts for chat, Google Drive and the various Play books/movie/apps portals. Every Android phone has these, but few of them take as much of the spotlight as the Motorola Moto X. Motorola’s contributions amount to two apps that don’t try to be anything more than side features – Motorola Assist and Motorola Migrate.Motorola Migrate is an app you install on your old phone to help transfer all your stuff (contacts, media, texts and so on) to the Moto X. It will then give you a QR code that you can scan using Migrate on the Moto X, and all your old content will be downloaded to the new phone. Motorola Assist ismore useful. It prohibits you from getting alerts at specified time of the day. Its primary function is to stop the phone from disturbing you when you are trying to sleep. Also, it can also fish into your Google Calendar and stop you from getting poked while you’re in meetings, and read out text messages using a synthesizedvoice while you are driving.
