CES 2014: whats from the world of technology waiting for you

CES 2014:The consumer electronics show 2014, Las Vegas

Like every year from 1976 CES happens in the sin city Las Vegas  and this year it is the biggest ever CES with 3,000 exhibiters and near about 150k tech freaks from all around the world attended CES 2014. Here at CES all the gadgets, innovative technology, new products, prototypes are shown by their respective companies which they are going to launch in coming year or in the near future. This is the biggest technology get together and this year is going to be the year of wearable technology, lots of wearable technology is coming to be either on your eyes or your wrist. In this post I'll tell you about the hottest launches in this year Consumer Electronics Show 2014.

  
Home entertainment:

Lets first start with the home entertainment gadgets, here in CES giants like SAMSUNG, LG and  SONY launched their ultraHD TVs with 4k resolution which is twice clear as compare to fullHD.The thing is that they are bigger(55 inch-105inch), better(4k resolution) and also got the curves. The most of the TVs launched are curvy which provide them better viewing angles the only issue is the cost because they will be really costly estimated around  RS 5-15 lakhs according to their size and features. And here price is not only the issue also the content, because there are not much 4K resolution content availble in market but no doubt in future many services will provide you will 4K content.

Next in the series of 4K resolution is Sony ULTRA THROW 4K PROJECTOR , this device is a beast and can project screen size of massive 147 inches only from the distance of 20 inches @4K resolution. This will be available from Q2 @ $30,000.

Gaming :

Now let's move from TVs to  whole new world of gaming launched here by Sony, the playstation now. This is basically cloud based gaming service in which you can play your PS3 games on your PCs, PSP, smartphones, Smart TVs, and other internet enabled smart devices. At this stage this is a prototype and we hoping something concrete in Q2 2014.

This year in CES there is also an interesting gadget launched which will be proved a game changer to the world of gaming. The better and upgraded version of OCULUS RIFT which is OCULUS RIFT CRYSTAL COVE in which you can do virtual gaming now comes with new improved head tracking system. So there is lots coming to the world of virtual gaming.

Smartphones and Tablets: 

There are not much launches in this category  but those devices launched , are enough to catch your eyes. First start with Sony here in CES 2014 Sony launched the compressed version of their flagship device SONY XPERIA Z1, the all new Xperia Z1 compact as named by Sony. This device is just same as XPERIA Z1 and as the name suggest the size is small, here Sony has not compromised with features, this device comes with screen size of  4.3in, same camera of 20.7 MP, snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB ram, waterproof and dustproof. No news about launched dates and pricing but this will be the most powerful  4.3 inch device in market. Another phone is showcased by LG which is LG G FLEX, this device is phablet and sports a flexible display of 6 inch.

As expected by Samsung there was bulk launched of tablets. 4 tablets were launched by Samsung

The only difference between the tabpro 12.2  and Notepro 12.2 is the stylus the Notepro comes with stylus inbuilt. All this devices will b available by Q1 2014.

Future comes to you with wearable technology:

Now this is future all the wearable gadgets you always wanted that you watched in those SCI-FI movies coming to life. This year's CES is totally occupied and talked about is the wearable gadgets launched here.

Started with Sony, Sony launched its new device CORE which you can wear on your wrist and it will keep track of your activity and tell you how much you travel, calories you burn and much more and display it on application named LIFE LOG you get on your xperia devices. The same kind of device is launched by LG known as LG LIFE BAND TOUCH which do the same thing like Sony CORE. The sony core is priced at 99 Euros and no launched date about LG life band.

Now move from wrist to eyes, there are also very cool stuff launched to wear on your eyes. The company known as ORCAM they introduced a device which is a small computer or processing device which you can mount on your eyewear this device have 5MP camera which take the picture of your view and convert into speech, this can do magic for partially or fully visually impaired people.

  Second cool eyewear launched by company named EPHIPHANY EYEWEAR which got  HD camera with 720p resolution inside the eyewear. This can record videos for an hour or so, comes with inbuilt memory of 8GB,16GB,32GB. The price of this device will start from @18000 INR. Very tough competition is coming for head mount camera.

one more important device was launched by Intel i.e., their INTEL EDISON which is one of the very revolutionary addition to modern technology and to make possible the concept of internet of things. this device which looks like a microSD card which can make any ordinary things smart by connecting it to internet via Intel Edison.
